Alvin F Charlery was born in Maynard Hill, Castries, St.Lucia. AS a child he was passionate about sports, especially soccer/football. He attended the R C Boys Primary School and Castries Comprehensive Secondary School. He migrated to the USA in 1987 and attended the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, Ct, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in education.  Alvin became passionate about poetry during graduate school. His artist name, Poetic Juggler, reflects the combination of his passions.

Alvin developed his poetic delivery and singing at open mic venues, especially Acoustic Cafe in Bridgeport, CT, where he became a crowd favorite. He takes pride in producing lyrics that are informative, uplifting and thought provoking. In 2004 he went on to publish a book of poetry, titled Evolution and in 2020, a CD titled Divine Inheritance.     

April, 2025, Alvin will be releasing a new single titled, Novos Ordo Seclorum (New World Order) a song highlighting the direction/misdirection of the world. He would like fans to sign up to his mailing list and also feel free to contact him for more information.
